About Us
Beacon currently has two locations in the White Mountains of Arizona.
Our Vernon location is on 26-acres in the beautiful rural Vernon AZ surrounding the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest and hosting a 2.3-acre pond that features a gazebo and grills. Living areas that include a full kitchen and laundry. The Campus includes a spacious Center, two cabin style six-plex dorms and a fourth multi-purpose building that is used for transitional living, and housing of staff to name a few.
The Show Low location is in downtown Show Low Ariona. The Center is right in the middle of town and housing options are available throughout the City as needed for both those within the program and after care in a Transitional living environment. This Center is in a key location, with several businesses in walking distance, that will accommodate those who desire to get back to work while completing their time with us.
Beacon’s Program Curriculum will be customized to meet the needs for each of our Center locations. However, what’s similar about the Centers is that every week, our program delves into various topics, which are reinforced through hands-on therapeutic capstone experiences in true recreational therapy. Activities like camping, canoeing, and fishing provide participants with immersive experiences in nature. Designed to instill and reinforce the fundamental principles of recovery, our programs offer a comprehensive and structured pathway towards healing and growth.
